Job summary

Omni Home Services in Cleveland seeks a detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our team. The role blends on-site inspections with customer service and follow-up to help homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals make informed decisions.

Inspect structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems and deliver clear, photo-supported reports. Certification or active pursuit preferred; driving across the Chattanooga area is expected.

Qualifications

Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems.
HVAC familiarity and basic electrical system knowledge; able to evaluate defects and safety issues.
Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure.
Strong customer service and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Comfortable working independently in the field and scheduling inspections.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections on-site at residential properties.
Assess structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
Interact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents with professional communication.
Create clear, photo-supported reports using inspection software.
Deliver reports within expected turnaround times.
