Locally focused in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, the role includes on‑site inspections, training with advanced tools, and opportunities to grow with a fast‑growing company committed to customer service and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Ohio Home Inspector License.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and flexible hours.
• Ability to be available for inspections with 24–48 hours’ notice.
• Career‑oriented mindset with a desire to grow professionally within our company.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated.
• Comfortable working independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs when conditions permit, enter attics and crawlspaces, and inspect properties for several hours each day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Not afraid of heights, confined spaces, or physically demanding work.

Compensation

Expected First-Year Earnings: $50,000–$70,000+

This is a full-time W-2 position with a performance‑based commission structure.

During Training

• Paid training at $20.00 per hour while training on inspections
• Paid ride‑along experience
• One‑on‑one mentoring
• Structured 16‑week onboarding program

After Training

• 30% commission on completed residential inspections
• 35% commission on approved ancillary services

Ideal Candidate

Licensed home inspectors are encouraged to apply.

If you are not yet licensed, you must be willing to obtain your Ohio Home Inspector License.

Candidates pursuing licensure are responsible for:

• Passing the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE)
• Purchasing their own NHIE study materials
• Providing their own inspection vehicle and standard inspection tools
