Job summary

Amerita is seeking a part-time RN for infusion therapy in Staten Island, NY. The role focuses on delivering infusion care 1:1 in patients' homes and preparing plans of care in alignment with INS and IgNS standards. You will coordinate with pharmacy staff and clinicians to support optimal outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure in NY, 1 year of RN experience, and IV therapy proficiency. Weekend coverage and on-call rotation are part of the schedule, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Infusion/home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule with varied shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; travel to patient homes.
• Must meet driving record requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient and establish a care plan.
• Follow infusion, pharmacy, and state regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, providers, and patients to monitor therapies.
• Document patient care in home or AIS systems.
• Manage vascular access devices and peripheral IVs; draw labs as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers about therapies.
• Monitor progress and adjust care with physician input.
• Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
