Job summary

Amerita, part of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a registered nurse to provide home infusion care for infusion patients 1:1 in patients' homes across Gwinnett County and adjacent counties.

You will assess, implement the Plan of Care, infuse medications, educate families and participate in on-call rotations. Requires RN license, CPR, and willingness to travel 100% to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel 100% to patients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish the Plan of Care.
• Adhere to infusion, pharmacy services and state laws/regulations.
• Follow INS/IgNS and CDC guidelines and ANA code of ethics.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, providers to monitor therapies.
• Document care in home health records and AIS.
• Manage vascular access devices and draw labs.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
