Job summary

Enliven Home Infusion Specialists Arizona is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to service home infusion and infusion center patients in Indianapolis and surrounding locations. The RN educator will teach patients and families about prevention and healthy habits, maintaining high-quality nursing care with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include EMR documentation, admissions and follow-ups, infusions, care-plan execution with physicians, and thorough clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• Malpractice insurance required.
• Drug screen required.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing is required; five years in Acute Care preferred.
• Strong Med/Surg, ICU, ER, acute care experience.
• Home Health/Infusion experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Vascular access skills for Ports/CVC/PICC; IV placement essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily EMR forms for each patient.
• Provide admission, case management, and follow-up visits for home infusion and infusion center patients.
• Administer ongoing care/infusions and follow physician/Clinical Manager directions.
• Collaborate with physicians and pharmacies to develop treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on care and educate patient and family.
• Report patient progress to physician, pharmacy, and Clinical Manager.
• Implement care plans with patient and family to meet needs.
• Discharge patients after physician/Clinical Manager consultation and complete documentation.
• Prepare medical documentation including case conferences, medication changes, and updates.
• Prepare visit/shift reports and coordinate with other healthcare disciplines.
