Job summary

BrightStar Care of Camden & Cherry Hill is seeking an experienced Home Infusion RN to deliver specialty infusion therapies in patients' homes, including IVIG and biologics. The role requires excellent IV skills, clinical judgment, and ability to manage 4–8 hour infusion visits with a field-based schedule in Camden County and Cherry Hill, NJ.

Compensation ranges from $50–$60/hour (W-2) based on experience; PRN, flexible scheduling, and mileage reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong peripheral IV insertion skills.
• Ability to work independently in patients' homes.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Camden County.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments before each infusion visit.
• Verify physician orders, medication, dosage, and instructions.
• Establish and maintain peripheral IV access using aseptic technique.
• Administer prescribed medications and hydration therapy.
• Program and monitor infusion pumps (Curlin, CADD, Sapphire, or equivalent).
• Safely administer IVIG and other specialty infusion medications.
• Monitor patients for vital signs and infusion tolerance.
• Respond to infusion-related reactions or emergencies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, hydration, and follow-up care.
• Communicate findings to Director of Nursing and prescribing provider.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per physician orders and payer requirements.
