Job summary

BJC Home Care is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation and coordination of infusion therapies that help patients receive critical medications in the comfort of their homes.

This Retail 2 role reports to a staff pharmacist, performs advanced compounding, manages perpetual inventory in the pharmacy IT system, and helps orient new technicians while pursuing ongoing education. Mon-Fri, days, no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with State Board registration.
• Preferred: Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Handles all Retail Pharmacy Technician I responsibilities, including clerical duties, data entry, cash handling & reconciliation and inventory management.
• Performs advanced compounding.
• Manages perpetual inventory in pharmacy IT system.
• Orients and trains new technicians.
• Demonstrates a commitment to continuing education.
