Job summary

Capstone Health, LLC dba Capstone Vital Care is seeking a dependable Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our home infusion pharmacy team. This role supports sterile medication preparation for infusion therapy in the home setting and requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes aseptic technique, accurate documentation, inventory management, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure patient safety and high-quality care within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered and in good standing as a Pharmacy Technician with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of IV compounding experience or completion of a compounding technician training program.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound sterile medications in accordance with USP <797>, USP <800>, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Follow aseptic techniques including handwashing, garbing and maintaining sterility in the clean room.
• Document compounded products with ingredients, lot numbers, quantities, expiration dates, and logs.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain accuracy in Orlando Kit Inventory Management system.
• Prepare medication deliveries and assist with supply picking and delivery preparation.
• Support pharmacists and team members with order preparation and workflow tasks while ensuring safety.
