BJC Home Care is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support preparation and coordination of infusion therapies for home use. This role emphasizes advanced compounding, inventory management, and training new technicians within a patient-centered home infusion setting.
Under the supervision of a staff pharmacist, you will handle clerical duties, data entry, cash handling, and maintain perpetual inventory in the pharmacy IT system.

BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.

The Home Infusion Therapy Department of BJC Home Care Services works closely with physicians, patients and caregivers to enable patients to remain or return home while receiving intravenous medications. Our services include 24 hour on-call pharmacy and nursing services, comprehensive patient education materials, patient assessment and drug administration monitoring, and coordination of professional services including home care nursing and laboratory services.
The Pharmacy Technician - Retail 2, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, performs all of the level I retail technician functions, completes advanced compounding, and manages perpetual drug inventory. This position is also responsible for orienting & training new technicians, as well as demonstrating a commitment to continuing education.
