Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for Home Infusion in California. You will insert, monitor, and remove IV therapy, perform venous access tasks, and coordinate patient care with the nursing team and agencies.

You will document nursing notes and communicate with physicians and families to ensure safe, effective therapy at patients' homes. Ideal candidates have an RN license, IV certification, and experience in home care or critical care settings, with willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college
• IV certification and central line care experience
• RN license with at least two years nursing experience; multi-state license a plus
• Valid state driver's license
• Experience with medical terminology
• Experience in home care, critical care, emergency nursing, AIC or hospital discharge planning
• Staffing experience and ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel to patient homes
• Customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits in accordance with RXs and protocols
• Coordinate SOC and ongoing nursing visits with patient and Nursing Agency/RN
• Ensure schedule emails to team
• Record Therapy Admin reports and share with team
• Review nurses notes for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate patient issues to families, supervisors, and staff
• Follow compliance and ethical standards in duties
• Coordinate staffing while maintaining confidentiality
• Insert IV cannulas and monitor infusion sites
• Educate patients and caregivers on Home Infusion administration
