Job summary

LUX Infusion, a clinician-led U.S.-based home infusion provider, is seeking a Per Diem Home Infusion Nurse to deliver safe IV therapy in patients' homes and infusion suites with independence and empathy. This role emphasizes flexibility, rigorous documentation, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal outcomes for patients served by LUX Infusion.

Current RN license, 2+ years of RN experience, IV certification, and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
• IV certification with experience in central line care and management.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to patient homes.
• Experience with patient documentation and care coordination.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and discontinue intravenous therapies in patient homes or infusion suite settings.
• Insert and manage IV access including peripheral lines, PICC lines, ports, and midlines.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples as ordered.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs, and reviews of systems.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, line care, and symptom monitoring.
• Teach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion when appropriate.
• Coordinate visit scheduling and communicate visit outcomes with clinical and operations teams.
• Accurately document all patient‑related care, medications administered, and patient responses.
