Job summary

LUX Infusion in California is seeking a Per diem Registered Nurse to deliver IV therapy in patients' homes and support care coordination for infusion programs. You will monitor patients during IV therapy, perform venous access, document nursing notes, and communicate with families and the nursing team.

Travel to patients’ homes is required, with shifts weekdays, weeknights, or weekends. A valid RN license and IV therapy experience are essential; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• IV certification & experience in central line care and management.
• Current state RN license required with a minimum of two years nursing RN license in other states a plus.
• Experience with medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the nursing process to schedule nursing visits per RXs and protocols.
• Coordinates SOC and ongoing nursing visits and confirms scheduled visits with patient and Nursing Agency/RN.
• Reviews nurses notes for accuracy and completeness.
