Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Home Infusion Nurse in Phoenix to deliver one-on-one nursing care at patients’ homes or ambulatory infusion sites. The role offers true autonomy, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients while delivering life-changing therapies.

You will work with a multidisciplinary care team, receive comprehensive training, and support patients and caregivers through infusion therapy.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• 2+ years of RN experience in a clinical setting supporting infusion or IV therapy.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment and effective interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and related sites using a personal or rental vehicle.
• Provide safe and compliant infusion services per policies and physician orders.
• Establish and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers, including education on self-care.
• Assess patient suitability for home infusion therapy, including home safety and caregiver support.
