Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a part-time Sales Specialist to help customers find home improvement products and close sales with expert guidance. You’ll discuss project needs, explain features, promotions, and financing options, and drive customer satisfaction through attentive service.

You’ll work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, or Live Nursery, collaborating with team members to deliver project outcomes and sales targets.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s experience in retail.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or heavier with assistive devices.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling installations, orders and follow-up.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/store for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support all checkout functions, calls for assistance, and departmental pages.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
