Job summary

Lowe's in Brownsburg, IN is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, uncover needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become the product expert across departments, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work in a fast-paced store environment, assisting customers, answering questions, and supporting checkout and service tasks. Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe’s if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department.
• Prepare project estimates and schedule installer visits; process and track orders and installations; follow up for completion.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to find merchandise or replacements.
• Support checkout functions and assist with department needs; train associates on sales floor.
