Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in Mansfield, OH. You will engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them toward the right home improvement solutions. You’ll become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing to close sales.

In this role, you’ll work across departments, assist with installations and orders, and help ensure customer satisfaction. Training and growth opportunities are available in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail.
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure if required by state (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing estimates, scheduling installs, processing orders, and following up for project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales, coordinate with vendors and stores to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communication channels.
• Train associates in the department through on-the-job coaching and development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
