Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, identify project needs, and guide them to products that fit their home improvement goals. You’ll build product knowledge, discuss features and promotions, and help close sales in a busy store environment.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Live Nursery, delivering exceptional service and contributing to store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience; 1 year sales or customer service experience with goals; ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods; lift 25 lbs; may need sales licensure supported by Lowe’s.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders and follow up for completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors/store for merchandise and stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing docs.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
