Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in the United States. You will greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to suitable products, promotions, and financing options to close sales. You’ll be the product expert across departments and help customers achieve home improvement goals.

In this role you’ll move throughout the store, assist with orders, train teammates, and maintain pricing and inventory while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years of external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by law (Lowe’s will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and showcasing Lowe’s products.
• Serve as a department contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates and scheduling visits.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with vendors/store to reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain documentation.
• Support checkout, call buttons, and department pages.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
