Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure their needs are met. You will assist with locating merchandise, loading, and processing orders with a focus on friendly, professional service.

Position spans multiple departments and may vary by store needs. Training in various areas and opportunities for growth are available within a large, nationwide retailer.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise
• Stock replenishment and organizing shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time arrival
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare merchandise in department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
