Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and help them select the right products to complete home improvement projects.

You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales. You’ll move around the store answering questions, handling orders, and supporting associates while promoting a positive shopping experience across departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales) if education is not met.
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service with sales goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimum lift 25 lbs or more with/without assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law, Lowe’s will support.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages of Lowe’s products.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installer visits, and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores for merchandise.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing docs.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
