Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales while delivering high-quality customer experiences.

You’ll work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, with a focus on proactive service and teamwork. This role emphasizes in-store collaboration and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with required goals/metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistive aid
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe’s will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating the advantages of Lowe’s products and services
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing estimates, scheduling visits, processing orders, and following up on project completion
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock
• Perform price reviews per policy and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development needs
• Complete other duties as assigned
