Job summary

Lowe's in the United States is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be among the first people customers meet, helping them find products and turn ideas into reality. You will discuss project needs, answer questions, and guide customers toward the best home improvement solutions.

As a product expert, you’ll explain specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, or Pro.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail exposure.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; stand/sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within department, manage orders and installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates and provide on-the-floor coaching.
