Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to meet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products. You will be the first contact, answering questions and supporting home improvement projects.

You will become a product expert, sharing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, while delivering genuine service and building lasting customer relationships in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's retail experience, or 3 years external sales experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within department, including orders and installations.
• Support checkout functions and assist with training other associates.
