Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products in the Charlotte area is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee installation projects for vinyl siding, windows and doors. You will manage scheduling, quality assurance, customer service, and coordinate with independent contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years in construction/installation management, the ability to recruit or contract subcontractors, and a valid driver's license with insurance.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of on-the-job experience in construction/installation management.
• As required by state contractor licensing law, a specific license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all jobs in progress from start to finish.
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors.
• Controlling communications with the customer on job and service issues.
• Support the installation process through effective materials management.
• Managing customer service related issues and expenses for all products lines assigned.
• Supervises (or shares supervision) of warehouse staff and the Installation Assistant.
• Support the installation process by identifying, communicating and resolving contract issues with sales staff.
• Maintain QED standards in district location.
• Ensure proper permits and licenses for all jobs have been obtained and are continually maintained.
