Job summary

Mr. Handyman in Lake Mary, FL is seeking an experienced Handyman Professional to complete home maintenance and repairs. You’ll be supported by a company-supplied van, gas card, and an office team that fills your schedule and answers calls.

You must live within 10–25 miles of our Lake Mary office, have 8+ years of paid handyman experience, own tools, and pass background and driving checks. The role offers flexibility and ongoing support to help you deliver great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman/home remodeling professional.
• Own all of your tools and be insurable to drive our vehicle.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work at heights safely.
• Proficiency in at least three areas (carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Completing home maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial projects.
• Communicate daily with customers to explain work scope and costs.

You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time. 70% of our business is repeat business.Job RequirementsThese are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.•Live within the a 10-25 mile radius of our office in Lake Mary, FL•Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman/home remodeling professional•Own all of your own tools•Be insurable for driving our vehicle•Complete a background and driving record check•Able to lift 50 pounds independently•Able to safely work at heights and work overheard for extended periods of time•Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicleAs an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following:•Carpentry work•Bathroom improvements•Kitchen improvements•Painting, both inside and out•Drywall work, minor and major repairs•General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law•Floor installation and refurbishing•Familiarity with building codesBenefits & PayThe pay range for this position is an avg. of $900-1,000/week + bonus potential + a company provided vehicle. Increases will come with performance at 90 days and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as drywall finishing/repairs (matching knockdown, orange peel, popcorn texture), carpentry (hanging doors, baseboards, rotted wood- fascia, trim, etc), remodeling (bath, kitchen), tile/flooring, and light plumbing & electrical experience.
