Job summary

Mr. Handyman is expanding its team of handyman professionals to deliver reliable home and commercial maintenance services. You’ll operate with a company-supplied van and carry out maintenance and repairs across a range of projects, while the office team handles calls and schedules you.

Live locally in the Munster, IN area. Bring at least 8 years of paid handyman experience, own your tools, and be prepared for background and driving checks.

Qualifications

• Live within the area.
• 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman.
• Own your own tools.
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently; able to work at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects (2 hours to 2 days).
• Communicate with customers to manage scope and costs.
• Create life-long customers by delivering a great experience.
• Self-manage as you’ll be alone often.
• Document the job following the Mr. Handyman Way; wear PPE and booties to protect homes.

The project length can range from two hours to two days.Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.Create Life-Long Customers – Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.
