The role supports multiple departments, may involve merchandise handling, and requires a customer-focused mindset. This position offers flexible scheduling and access to Lowe’s benefits and training programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing or sitting.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.
• Preferred: bilingual abilities.
• Preferred: certification related to department (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical).

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise and keep shelves organized.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timeliness.
• Cross-train in other areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
