Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Indiana to greet customers, help them find the right products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, stock shelves, process orders, and support other departments as needed in a fast-paced retail environment. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and opportunities to learn with Lowe's Track to the Trades program.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by stocking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
