Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Waynesville, NC. You will welcome customers, help them find products and services for home improvement, and ensure needs are met with friendly, knowledgeable service.

You may work across departments based on store needs and have opportunities to grow, with bilingual options and ongoing training through Lowe’s benefits and education programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic; able to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and organizing displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/paint, cut/thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
