Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers, help them find the right products, and assist with home improvement questions. You’ll engage with shoppers, answer questions, and ensure a helpful, friendly store experience.

The role offers exposure to many departments and opportunities to learn trade skills, advance knowledge, and participate in team training in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing or sitting.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
