Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement needs. You will interact with customers, answer questions, and ensure service quality throughout the day.

Your role includes assisting with product locating, stocking, processing orders, and collaborating with teammates to provide outstanding service. The position supports a friendly, inclusive shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand, sit, and perform duties as required.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves by identifying empty areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service excellence.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
