Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Ames, IA is seeking a customer-focused Associate to welcome shoppers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs.

You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure items are available and properly displayed. This is a part-time role with diverse duties across departments to support a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic software.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Load merchandise and restock as needed on the floor.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
