Job summary

Lowe's in Hickory, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will listen, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met throughout the shopping experience.

This role offers exposure to various departments, opportunities to learn new trades, and a focus on friendly, professional service. You may assist with stocking and merchandising while delivering top-tier support.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with help as needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
