Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Lumberton, NC to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement.

You will engage with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met. Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or 25+ lbs with accommodation
• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience (preferred)
• Bi-lingual skills (preferred)
• Certification in trade related to department (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
