Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a Home Health role in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time position focuses on managing care plans, clinical documentation, and quality oversight while delivering patient care in patients' homes throughout Western PA.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in PA, 1+ year of RN experience, and hands-on EMR experience, including Practice Partner EMR, with ALS/ACLS certifications. A valid driver’s license is required for local travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing.
• 1+ year of RN experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Clinical Documentation, Clinical Informatics, or Clinical Quality.
• 1+ year of experience with EMR systems such as Practice Partner EMR.
• PA RN license in good standing.
• ARC ALS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and active auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on the management and delivery of patient care plans.
• Support patients across Western PA and surrounding areas.
• Spend approximately 20% of the day driving to and from patient locations.
• Meet deadlines for charting and documentation.
• Self‑manage time, schedule and daily workflow.
• Maintain compliance with clinical quality standards and EMR documentation requirements.

Qualifications – Required

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing
• 1+ year of RN experience
• 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Clinical Documentation
  • Clinical Informatics
  • Clinical Quality
• 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Other EMR systems
  • Practice Partner EMR
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA)
• ALL of the following valid certifications:
  • American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
• Valid Driver's License, Reliable Mode of Transportation, and Active Auto Insurance

Overview

Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join their extraordinary care team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This full‑time Home Health role focuses on the management and delivery of patient care plans, clinical documentation, and quality oversight. Nurses in this role support patients throughout Western PA and surrounding communities, providing care directly in the home setting.

This position is ideal for nurses who value autonomy, strong patient relationships, and a structured schedule with meaningful clinical impact.

• Consistently meet critical deadlines for charting and documentation
• Self‑manage time, schedule, and daily workflow
• Maintain compliance with clinical quality standards and EMR documentation requirements

Schedule & Shift Details

• On‑call: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5 PM – 10 PM
• 8 units on Saturday
• 8 units on Sunday
• 2 holidays per year

Travel Requirements

• Local travel required across Pittsburgh and surrounding Western PA communities
• Daily driving to patient homes and community locations
