Job summary

Acadian HomeCare, part of the Optum family, is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to assess, plan, and implement treatment for patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive needs. You will work within the home health care team to support patient well-being and functional communication.

Requires licensure in Speech Therapy for the state of residence and a valid driver’s license; CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days. Weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• CPR certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function.
• Perform interventions to enhance patient well-being and monitor progress.
