Job summary

Amedisys is a leading home health and hospice provider seeking a Speech Pathologist to help adults at home with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs. The role emphasizes assessment, diagnosis and treatment in a home-based setting.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with required coursework and supervised practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard of hearing and AAC systems for severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
