Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to assess and treat speech and swallowing disorders in adults in home health settings across Butler and Columbus, GA. The role offers flexibility and strong growth opportunities within a leading home health provider.

Responsibilities include aural rehabilitation and AAC support, with a focus on patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration. State licensure and CCC-SLP are required, CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered state license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with CFY option if needed.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in speech pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC for deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
