Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Speech Pathologist in Gloucester, VA to assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults at home health visits. You will provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support, coordinate with caregivers and healthcare teams, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting.

Requires state licensure, CCC-SLP, CPR certification; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with supervised clinical practicum completed.
• CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for deaf or hard of hearing individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.
