Interim HealthCare Inc. in Dublin, VA is seeking a compassionate Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes across Dublin and surrounding areas. The role supports improving communication, swallowing, and cognitive function in daily environments.

The position offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN) with pay per visit from $45 to $100 plus mileage reimbursement. A Master’s/Doctoral in Speech-Language Pathology and VA SLP license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active SLP license in Virginia required.
• Minimum 2 years of speech therapy experience; home health preferred.
• CPR certification and PPD/TB skin test required.
• Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide home-based speech therapy to patients with communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Observe and evaluate a patient’s ability to communicate, swallow, and process information.
• Monitor progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Assist patients with mouth, breathing, swallowing, fluency, articulation, and reading exercises.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety practices, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT, OT).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP to provide personalized, one-on-one therapy in a home setting throughout Dublin and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working independently while helping patients improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function within their daily environment.

As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP, you will work directly with patients recovering from illness or injury while developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based speech therapy to patients experiencing communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Observe and evaluate a patient’s ability to communicate, swallow, and process information
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
