Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes across various settings in North Carolina. You will work under physician oversight to assess language, speech, voice and swallowing needs.

The role involves evaluating and treating patients with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease and dementia, using evidence-based approaches and adaptive communication methods to support independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting under the care of an attending physician.
• Address language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and aug/alt communication needs.
• Work with patients who may have had strokes or progressive diseases such as Parkinson's disease and dementia in a home health context.
