Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist for PRN work in home health settings. Provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults, with a focus on helping patients heal at home.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice speech pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• CFY pathway noted if CCC-SLP not yet obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support as needed.
• Carry out duties as assigned.
