Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to cover the Seattle area, helping patients heal at home. You’ll work to assess and treat a range of communication and swallowing disorders, with emphasis on patient-centered home health care in the Seattle region.

The role includes licensure in the assigned state, CCC-SLP, CPR, and preferred 1+ year of experience. Amedisys offers generous benefits and the opportunity to impact patients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with accredited program and CFY pathway.
• Current CPR certification.
• One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard of hearing individuals and AAC systems for those with expressive/language challenges.
• Other duties as assigned.
