Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide adult home health visits on a per diem days schedule. You will assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients in their homes, with a focus on patient-centered, home-based care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you work.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with graduate coursework and accredited practicum.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in speech pathology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
