Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and active Texas license required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience with clinical documentation systems and reporting software.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy obligations.
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues with speech therapy tools.
• Attendance to sessions while standing; mobility required.
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures and treatment plans.
• High accountability and meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises tailored to patient goals.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families throughout treatment.
• Set measurable goals and track patient progress.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of therapy equipment.
• Review patient records prior to sessions to tailor treatment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure.
