Job summary

PARS Therapy in Longview, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide direct speech therapy services, design engaging activities, and support patients and families throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CCC-SLP certification and active Texas license to practice
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems and reporting software
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues relating to speech therapy tools
• Ability to perform duties primarily in a standing position
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor with patients and families

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to patients per physician orders and Plan of Care
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises tailored to each patient’s goals
• Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and families throughout treatment
• Establish measurable goals and track patient progress, noting improvements and ongoing challenges
• Ensure proper setup, use and sterilization of therapy equipment per safety protocols
• Review patient records prior to sessions to tailor a personalized treatment approach
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Active Texas license
