Job summary

PARS Therapy in the Houston area seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy aligned with physician orders and individualized plans of care. You will design engaging, evidence-based activities, counsel patients and families, and track progress while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.

The role supports a patient-centered, interdisciplinary team with flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits. Onsite in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and active Texas license to practice in TX.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience with clinical documentation systems and patient records software.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Experience managing confidential patient information with discretion.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues with speech therapy tools.
• Ability to perform duties primarily in a standing position.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• High accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and care plans.
• Design and implement engaging exercises tailored to patient goals.
• Counsel and support patients and families throughout treatment.
• Establish measurable goals and track progress.
• Ensure proper setup, use and sterilization of equipment per safety protocols.
• Review patient records prior to sessions to tailor treatment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure.
