Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP with an active Texas license, and proficiency with clinical documentation systems, HIPAA compliance, and patient data handling.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and active Texas license to practice.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems and related software.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion.
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues related to therapy tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement evidence-based exercises aligned to goals.
• Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and families.
• Set measurable goals and track progress, noting improvements and challenges.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of therapy equipment per safety protocols.
• Review patient records before sessions to tailor treatment approaches.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current.
