Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and an active Texas license to practice.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems and related reporting software.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion.
• Able to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to speech therapy tools.
• Must be able to perform duties in a standing position.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor; strong attention to detail in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises tailored to each patient.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families throughout treatment.
• Establish measurable goals and track patient progress.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of speech therapy equipment.
• Review patient records before sessions to tailor treatment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current.
