Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and Texas license.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience with clinical documentation systems and HIPAA privacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement evidence-based exercises tailored to each patient’s goals.
• Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and families during treatment.
• Establish measurable goals and track patient progress, noting improvements and challenges.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and sterilization of therapy equipment following safety protocols.
• Review patient records prior to sessions to tailor treatment approaches.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.
